about

Solitudes was an exhibition by 3 Brazilian artists based in Berlin: Gabriel Centurion, Tahian Bhering and Ingrid Bittar aka Britta.

Living abroad brings to surface a complex range of feelings that often form into one amalgam that solidifies into solitude. The dimensions of it are yet not identified but perceived and expressed into waves of pleasure, pain and loneliness. The works at the exhibition show different manifestations of that, according to each artist, going beyond plain visuality.

-----

Thanks to Tahian and Ingrid for the opportunity. Thanks to Camila for helping me carry all my stuff around town and for everyone that came to listen to me make some noise.

Solitudes was recorded straight from my mixer on May 18th, 2019, at Fata Morgana & CoGalleries in Berlin-Mitte. Production, recording, mixing, art direction and everything else by Felipe Tofani.

Camila Irala did the shooting. Baphomet, Zé, Natasha, Bartô, and Nergal, this time the noise was somewhere else.

In somewhat direct & press-oriented words, MUQDISHO is the bleak, noisy, ambient head of a sound spear solely wielded by Felipe Tofani.
